Educational Programs

 Espaço Cultural e Educação AFRAPE

At the core of AFRAPE’s educational mission is the belief that learning opens doors to opportunity. AFRAPE's Educational Programs provide children and teens with the tools they need to succeed—both in school and in life. From after-school academic support to hands-on professional training, this program helps young people build confidence, develop real-world skills, and envision brighter futures for themselves and their families.

Donations directly fund essential resources like school supplies, computers, training materials, and skilled educators—helping us reach more students and expand the impact of every lesson.

Professional Education Program

This program provides technical training for teens (ages 14–17) from low-income families, preparing them for the workforce. Through hands-on courses in technology, production, and services—as well as workshops on career development and entrepreneurship—students gain real-world skills to help them find jobs and build a better future.

Your donation helps cover instructor costs, equipment, and training materials, opening doors for youth who otherwise wouldn't have access to these opportunities.

After-School Support – Project Som & Luz

Designed for children ages 6 to 14 from Botucatu’s North Zone, this program offers a safe and enriching environment during out-of-school hours. It includes academic support (especially in math), robotics, programming, chess, judo, arts, and music—all aimed at preventing youth from being left unsupervised and vulnerable to social risks.

With your support, we can expand the number of students we serve, provide healthy snacks, improve facilities, and offer more learning tools to empower children to grow safely and confidently.
